So it seems I have a fever, and the only cure is more Tarfful!
So as several of you know I'm working on a Tarfful with plans to be done by late May. I feel I've finally got enough traction to get started on a build thread. Along with a large box of hair extensions and black mesh I've got:

A set of open palmed hands. They are large enough that I can wear cotton gloves under them for sweat issues. I still need to replace the velcro with elastic and paint them a single shade of dark brown to better match the EPIII hands.

This is the master for my hair beads. I tried cutting the diamond pattern and then attaching it to the ring, but that didn't work too well. If you try this at home I would suggest attaching and smoothing out the greenstuff (epoxie clay) and then carving the diamonds. I used a snap off knife blade to recarve them (specifically I used the edge that is scored to allow the knife tip to snap off). I'm going to have this professionally pressure cast to make the ones I wear. There is a small hole in the back to allow me to knot it into the hair to keep it in place.

Here is a pic of the first prototype of my small ammo box. It's about 12% too small so I have another set on the way. I used a rapid prototyping service to create it from my 3d drawing. I will be casting this on my own.

And a pic of my large ammo box. Pretty much everything said about the small one applies here as well.

My stilts, not hugely happy with how they came out. I'm afraid they are a liitle too long to hide properly so I may have to remake them. The things I noticed was that I ended up with the shoe sole flat along the angle (there is a 4 inch rise from front to back) instead of there being a break at the balls of the foot like high heels have. Also, I made mine with three 2 inch pieces of rigid foam insulation with 2 hard board pieces sandwiched in between (so foam, board, foam, board, foam). This caused one stilt to have a slight lean (the top and bottom are parallel but the shaft isn't perpendicular). All in all I expect this will be the first thing to be replaced and if I have time that will happen before my first outing.

And finally the obligitory Wookiee Works product pic. The toes and mask both look great in person. And for those wondering if the mask will fit, I wear a XXL hat size and my fingers are almost the diamter of a quarter (I can drop a nickle through my wedding band). I can just fit my hand between the back of my head and the inside back of the head shell. Also, for height measurements, a 3 inch piece of rigid foam perfectly raises the mask so the eye holes are at my eye level.
