Welcome aboard! Check out www.thedentedhelmet.com for your Mando needs. Be advised that custom Mandos (including Death Watch Mandos) are not acceptable for 501st membership. They're fine as secondary, "non-canon" costumes after you get your membership with a "canon" costume. Just ask if you need help tracking down something! |

If he is doing the Deathwatch from the Clone Wars episodes that are currently airing, that would constitute Canon, right? I know the Deathwatch from EU isn't canon, but I thought RL and 501st both acknowledged the Clone Wars.

It might change in the future, but for now, the Death Watch Mandos (any version) are not listed in the CRL as acceptable canon costumes: http://501st.com/crl/index.php |

I can see that given that they are only a week or so old. So the 501st doesn't have a blanket "if it is in the Clone Wars you can submit it with screen shots" rule like they do (or at least used to have) for the movies? I know that with Rebel Legion submitting screen shots from the Clone Wars is sufficent.
